My background

Career

Born on 30 September 1968 in Schleswig, I spent the first years of my life with my beloved grandparents in Schuby. I was constantly on the move and moved around the small village on my own. Someone would bring me home in the afternoon. When I was six, I came to live with my mother in Hamburg and this change brought with it a lot of difficulties.

Shortly before my A-levels, I met an extraordinary surf gang at school and was simply on the move. After my civilian service in the operating theatre of a hospital in Hamburg, I went to Lüneburg and studied applied cultural studies with a focus on business administration. During my studies I tried out a lot of things. I was a model, wrote articles, worked as a marketing consultant, built up a surf & fashion company, was a surf and snowboard instructor and did all kinds of jobs.

In 1995 I started my internship at the trend agency Forecast. A few agencies later I was a strategic planner, set up my own unit and was a member of BBDO’s ThinkTank.

In 2003 I left BBDO and became a freelancer when my daughter Naemi was born. This was followed by work in the Competence Network St. Gallen “The Refresh Company”, interim intern. Chief Planner at BBDO for Mars and probably about 100 freelance jobs per year.

2005 I started my research on the „Archetype Brand Model“. Member of the Academy for Neuroscientific Education Management, years of training in the use of guided meditations and constellation work, study of trauma research and development of my own models, such as the „brand meaning game“. Intensive work with the „hero’s journey“ according to Joseph Campbell, storytelling and the „archetypes“ concept according to C. G. Jung.

2012 Start of further training at the „Process Work Institute“ from Portland. I also founded the social surf project „The Social Surf Club e.V.“.

2022 First book publication „Archetype Leadership – How your brand idea goes into leadership“.

I live in Hamburg, Portugal and France.

Archetype-Leadership

After almost three years it is finally finished: my first book! In it, I reveal all my working methods, the background knowledge on them and concrete instructions on how to bring an idea into leadership.

The Social Surf Club e.V.

In 2012, I launched the social surf project with many friends. In 2022, we will already be running six surf camps with about 120 children and young people. This work is purely voluntary for all counsellors and free of charge for the children and young people from difficult backgrounds.
